Good scoring for event 2 of the Katameya Junior Golf Series

Event 2 of the Katameya Junior Series took place on the weekend of Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November.
With cooler and winder conditions the category 1 players found scoring a little tougher but it was Katherine Spangenberg who returned a net 73 to win category 1 by 2 strokes from Alex Sehgal with a net 75.
The category 2 players were playing a stableford format and the tougher weather conditions never really affected them because the scoring was excellent. The champion golfer was Abdel Aziz Said who returned 24 points narrowly beating his closest rival and runner up on the count back Harry Butterworth also on 24 points and third place Thomas North with 23 points.
Like the category 2 players the Katameya Kids Category also produced some great gross 6 hole scores. It was Nikita Murdoch who took his second victory in two events with a gross 27 beating runner up Justine Repond on the count back also with gross 27. Third place went to Morgan Bussain who returned a gross 30.
Congratulations to all competitors and winners!
