The fourth event of the Katameya Junior Series took place on the weekend of Friday 29th and Saturday 30th January and with warmer weather and great course conditions we were expecting good scoring.
The category 1 winner was Timi Obatoyinbo with a net 66 and his closest rival and runner up was Saphir Gohar with a net 69.
9 holes, stableford was the format for the category 2 players and it was Abdel Aziz Said who produced the low round and recorded 25 stableofrd points over 9 holes. Said’s nearest rival was Misha Murdoch who took the runner up spot with 23 points and third place went to Euan Morrison who returned 22points.
Like the category 2 players the Katameya Kids Category also produced some great gross 6 hole scores. It was Nikita Murdoch who took his second victory with a gross 25 beating runner up Adam Danielson by 1 stroke on gross 26 and third place going to Alisha Healey who returned a gross 28.
