Good scoring for event 3 of Junior Series.
The 3rd event of the Katameya Junior Series took place on the weekend of Friday 18th and Saturday 19th December and the wintery conditions didn’t seem to affect category 2 and Katameya Kids division but categpry 1 players all seemed to struggle. The category 1 winner was Hassan Said with a net 75 and his closest rival and runner up was Mounir Youssef who returned a net 80.
9 holes, strokeplay was the format for the category 2 players and it was Callum Gibson who produced the 9 holes of his life to return a net 20 which was 9 shots clear of his closest rival and runner up Max North, net 29 and Hassan el Abbady returned a net 32 to claim 3rd place.
Like the category 2 players the Katameya Kids Category also produced some great gross 6 hole scores. It was Jarod Boulegroun who took his first victory with a gross 24 beating runner up Sorab Joshi by 5 strokes on gross 29 and third place went to Adam Danielson who returned a gross 29 but lost out on the coutback.
