Congratulations to Jarod Boulegroun, the February Junior Golfer of the Month. This prestigious award is decided by all the PGA Golf Professionals at Katameya and is awarded to a junior who has shown dedication and enthusiasm for the game, shows improvement through their practice and tournament results during the month. The February winner, Jarod has been playing the Katameya Kids 6 hole division with considerable consistency. He has one victory in the series already and he finished runner in the Katameya Junior Open under 9 category and runner up in event 5 of the Katameya Kids 6 hole division.

Jarod has also been attending the ever popular Junior Development program where PGA Golf Professional had these kind words to say about Jarod. “He has shown so much enthusiasm and dedication throughout the program and especially of late. He thoroughly deserves this prestigious award” Jarod has been seen practicing in his own time on all aspects of his game. His dedication and hard work has paid off with two successful weeks. He wins a pro shop voucher and a 9 hole playing lesson with the PGA Professional of his choice.
