“Katameya Men’s Amateur Open kicks off EGF Order of Merit”
The Katameya Men’s Amateur Open will be the opening major event on the EGF calendar. The 36 hole event will take place over the Championship course at Katameya Heights Golf and Tennis Resort on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2009. The event is once again being played over the weekend; and with that we look forward to attracting the countries strongest players. A maximum field size of 84 players permitted by a handicap ballot, (Max handicap 18) giving precedence to the lowest handicap, and will decide the final 84 players after the closing date for entries. The event will crown the Katameya Men’s Amateur Open Gross and Net respective champions. EGF order of merit points will be awarded after the event.
