“Soliman El Asar comfortably wins Katameya Men’s Open”
Having led after the first round, and then after 27 holes, Soliman El Asar played very solid consistent golf to insure a comfortable victory in the 2010 Katameya Men’s Open. El Asrar who has been on a great run of form lately returned gross rounds of 76 – 74 = 150 total which was 5 shots clear of Abdel Moniem El Shafei (GEZ) 80 -75 =155 total. El Asar made brief speech thanking the Head Professional at Katameya Heights and his team for the organization of the event along with the Egyptian Gol Federation and Julius Bar for their support of the vent. In the battle for the 2010 Katameya Men’s Open net champion it was Ayaz Afridi (KH) who returned net rounds of 73 – 75 = 148 total to claim the victory by 1 shot from Mike Adly (KH) who returned net rounds of 76 – 73 =149 total. |
