Walid Ramadan’s golfing career started at the Alexandria Sporting Club where he was a young amateur who quickly progressed into an accomplished player with good knowledge of the game. During Walid’s time as an amateur he participated in many events with success such as the Hassan Hassanain Cup and several other established amateur tournaments. This success and his knowledge of the game has grown, ultimately giving Walid the opportunity to become an Egyptian Golf Professional at Katameya Heights.

Waleed Sobhy - Egyptian Professional
Waleed first started to play golf at Alexandra Sporting Club from the age of 11. During a successful amateur playing career Waleed has won many tournaments including the Alexandra Pro-Am and most recently, in June 2008, the Katameya Heights Club Championship. Waleed’s, knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication to the game of golf makes him a valuable addition to the Professional team at Katameya.
